Advanced multi-layer filtration for cleaner-tasting water, right from your tap.
Pureva combines eight filtration layers designed to help reduce unwanted particles, certain contaminants, chlorine and unpleasant odours. Each stage plays a different role in the filtration process, working together to improve your everyday water experience.
01. 304 Stainless Steel Filter Mesh
Helps capture larger visible particles, sediment, rust flakes and other debris before water passes through the finer filtration layers. This provides an initial barrier against larger impurities.
02. Activated Alumina
Designed to adsorb certain dissolved substances from water. Activated alumina can be effective at reducing fluoride and certain other contaminants when the filter is appropriately formulated and tested for those specific substances.
03. Folded Polypropylene
A pleated filtration layer designed to trap suspended particles and fine sediment. Its folded structure provides additional filtration surface area, helping capture particles as water passes through.
04. Activated Carbon Fibre
Activated carbon can adsorb chlorine and certain organic compounds that contribute to unpleasant tastes and odours. This layer is designed to help deliver a fresher, more pleasant drinking-water experience.
05. Activated Carbon Powder
Provides additional carbon filtration, helping target certain substances that affect water's taste, smell and overall quality. Its effectiveness depends on the carbon formulation, contact time and filter design.
06. Pre-Activated Carbon
Adds another carbon-based filtration layer to help reduce residual chlorine and certain unwanted compounds, supporting a cleaner-tasting glass of water.
07. Densified Activated Carbon
A compact carbon layer that provides further contact between water and the filtration material. Depending on its composition, it may help reduce additional chlorine, selected organic compounds and associated odours.
08. Post-Activated Carbon
The final carbon stage provides additional polishing to help improve the taste and smell of filtered water before it reaches your glass.
